As a Machinist (Aerospace), your focus will be

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines and other machining equipment to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining operations and requirements.

Perform tool changes, adjustments, and machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and accurate production.

Monitor the machining process, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency.

Perform inspections using various measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet required specifications.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a well-organized and efficient production environment.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or apprenticeship in machining is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Machinist, operating and programming CNC machines (CNC Turning, CNC Milling, CNC TurnMill, Manual/Cylindrical Grinding)
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with various machining tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Knowledge of G-code programming
• Prior experience in aerospace or related industry
• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity
• Ability to communicate information clearly
