What You’ll Do

As abe designing, integrating, andcomplex systems that drivethe semiconductorforward. Yoursolutions tintricate processes.be responsible foranalyzing requirementsdefining system architecturesconducting thorough testingand ensuring seamless integration of subsystems.

RoleResponsibilities:

  • Write portionsof the system engineering specificationpertaining tofield of technicalexpertise

  • Work on system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software designutilizingexpertisein technical area of specialty

  • tests andprovide feedback to product engineering and software onnew designsand ongoing engineering improvements

  • Identify andtroubleshoot engineering problems infieldof technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.

  • Work with System Integration during the assembly and final testing of all products

  • ssure that allnew designsof hardware and softwaremeetmarket requirement specifications andare reliable, safe, user friendly and maintainable by the field

  • Review all external equipment interfaces, analyze architecture ideas,andensuretheyare up to date and documented


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum of 6 years experience as a system design engineer

  • Must have knowledge and understanding of equipment/tools in the semiconductor industry

  • Design or modifyelectrical/electronicengineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detaileddrawings/specificationsfor control systems.

  • Design experience with control architecture design with system level knowledge, integration and testing. Expertise in overall control architecture, including remote I/O distribution (Ether cat, Device Net), Analog and Digital control, Motion control etc.

  • Proficiency in software like AUTO CAD, TWIN CAT etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Testing hardware prototypes, troubleshooting, generating failure reports, and suggesting/doing therepairs/modificationsto the boards on a system level.

  • Creating documentation on the design of system and integration.

  • Communicating with other engineers to coordinate efforts on projects.

  • Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers

  • Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of complex electrical problems with limited to no supervision.

  • Specify the development of design or modify engineering assemblies, layout/schematics and/or detaileddrawings/specificationsof complex scope.

  • Interfaces with internal and external customers regarding complex electrical issues for specific projects.

  • Implement concepts for wide range of complex product issues and solutions.

  • Generate product specifications with limited to no supervision.

  • Specify and/or perform engineering analysis of complex scope.

  • Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports.
