Participate as a key team member in the development of unique mechanical concepts for optics, optical mount, flexures, and structures with critical constraints that meet the demanding requirements of space applications.
Support the development and build of hardware that is driven towards lower cost and higher volumes.
Develop strategies and methods to be able to efficiently and quickly build and test systems and components that require critically precise alignment.
Use optical test equipment to measure optical performance and optical alignments
Support shock, vibration, and thermal testing of equipment
Work in and maintain a cleanroom environment
YOU MUST HAVE
Technical degree/diploma in a discipline such as Optics, Photonics, or related field
3+ years of experience in an assembly, integration, and test of hardware in an R&D environment
3+ years in an optical manufacturing environment
