- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Familiarity with roadway design principles
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Interest in taking on design challenges learning new skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- EIT certificate
- Experience with roadway design including horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage design, estimating, specification writing, and developing other roadways components incorporated into a set of construction plans
- Working knowledge of federal and state design guidelines and design procedures
- Experience with MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, or Open Bridge Designer
