What you’ll be doing:
Representing NVIDIA’s functional safety strategy and architectures to the customer
Working closely with customers to understand their functional safety requirements and system architectures and feeding those back into the development teams
Assisting customers to safely integrate and validate our products in their systems and vehicles
Supporting customer facing safety collateral
Tailoring functional safety platforms and safety analyses for strategic customers
You will be working closely with safety management, solution architects, sales and technical marketing teams as well as hardware design engineers and architects to deliver state of the art products
What we need to see:
You have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience in system safety, functional safety, or systems engineering.
This position requires a deep understanding of functional safety system architectures needed to meet the ISO 26262 functional safety standard. Experience with market adjacent standards such as IEC 61508 can also be considered.
Experience interacting with customers and managing the engagement
You possess excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Expectation for travel according to Business/Customer requirements
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Prior automotive industry experience, especially in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) or autonomous driving
Relevant safety personnel certifications (e.g. CFSP, CFSE, or equivalent)
