Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Responsible forleading stories and product collections in theFuture CityFootwear segment.

Be unapologetically consumer obsessed generating relevant stories and products that excite the ChinaLow Tier

Be an expert of human ergonomic, to deliver excellent product solutions and drive new product stories.

Have a professional balanced approach to work within a dynamic and creative environment whilst balancing the need for operational excellence and speed to market.

Key Responsibilities:

Be a Consumer Obsession champion with a special emphasis on winning the China consumer within different tier cities across China.

Able to work with Chinese cultural inspirated stories through different design elements and executions.

Design concepts and products that maintain consumer advocacy whilst delivering against the product brief

Present stories and ideas cross functionally with effectiveness to gain consensus

Always stay up to date on the latest trends both externally and internally

Follow up of creative strategy on sample level and ensure maximum market and consumer relevancy

Maximize results within given budget and timeframes

Present and communicate creative solutions with clarity, effectively selling in ideas to variety of stakeholders

Identify opportunities of improvement and change, and initiate own proposals/projects

Seek out new Design resources that can deliver world class results

  • Product Marketing
  • Product Development(Sourcing and Costing)
  • External Creative Resources (agencies, freelancers, photographers, etc)
  • T1 Factory

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong communication skills to articulate concepts, ideation and collections seamlessly to various members of the organization

Have key insights into sportswearand street wear.

Ability to create design related techpack, sketch, mood board and technical drawing.

Ability to translate stories or product function into market ready products with accurate design languages.

Deep knowledge of footwear creation process and how cross functional members contribute

Mature approach and ability to persuade, negotiate and compromise to produce win/win scenarios

IT skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint: advanced /Outlook

Design apps: expert, 2D software is a must, 3D software is a plus.

Excellent communication skills in English

Under-graduate level Design education or combination thereof

Solid education and advanced experience in the creative development of communication tools

At leastyears’ experience in Sporting Goods/Fashion Industry or Design

Cross functional expertise in addition to Design would be advantageous
