Reference Data Adoption VP
This position requires an understanding of enterprise data capabilities as well as their practical application across functions in a large financial services organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with line-of-business, Risk and Finance functions to document the current state of Master and Reference Data, identify the target state, and plan and execute Adoption initiatives
- Understand and actively manage key program/project deliverables and interdependencies to ensure execution
- Support the adoption of the Enterprise Master & Reference Data Strategy
- Advocate for adoption of Master and Reference standards and remediation of data quality issues at source
- Develop a deep understanding of MRD concepts and taxonomies as well as their end-to-end use cases
- Continuously monitor and report adoption status across a federated portfolio of programs and projects
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in financial services preferably one of Citi’s lines of business or global functions (risk, finance)
- Experience in Master and Reference Data domains e.g., Party, Account, Product, Instrument, Agreement, etc
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect day-to-day activities to long-term objectives
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, identify dependencies and negotiate solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to deliver key messaging across a varied group of stakeholders
- Experience with change management using a structured project methodology to successfully plan and track projects
- Self-starter with the ability to work independent of detailed oversight
- Flexibility to deal with ambiguity and changes in business priority
- Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
