Senior - The role requires demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing team. It requires close collaboration with various external consultants and build a close partnership. Proven capabilities of setting up Multi country Finance Operations, managing process, month end close, account reconciliation and financial reporting processes




Your key responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive accounting operations, including Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report processes etc.
  • Contribute to and Review of periodic management reports, Balance Sheet reconciliation and providing business intelligence report
  • Provide management with assistance in Treasury and Banking functions, such as managing Bank Guarantees, overseeing credit operations, handling collections, analyzing cash flows, responding to banking inquiries, and coordinating with relevant parties.
  • Meticulous adherence to the compliance calendar of client to ensure smooth closure of books of accounts, and meet statutory reporting obligations
  • Act as the financial controller for the entity and ensure the accuracy of financial reports of entity or set of legal entities
  • Create and manage internal and external reporting dashboards to demonstrate progress of activities and status quo of multi country engagements
  • Meet Local Tax and statutory filing requirements involving input collation, verifying the calculations, addressing the issues to avoid any delay filing or penalty etc.
  • Coordinate and ensure successful implementation of accounting changes due to change in tax or local business model with close collaboration with Technical and accounting team
  • Manage statutory and internal audits from local tax authority or other government agencies including liaising and collaborating with relevant stakeholders, addressing, and resolving open issues identified
  • Provide support in Fixed Asset and inventory management including Review of schedules like Fixed Asset Register, inventory valuation and physical verification, reclass of assets etc.
  • Engage in Proactive Stakeholder management
  • Demonstrate a willingness to question and improve existing processes by introducing lean ideas, fostering a control-focused environment, and enhancing quality.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of accounts, schedules, and calculations to affirm the quality of deliverables, and aid in the effective implementation of internal review mechanisms and control processes.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Hands on experience in any of the ERP
  • Experience in managing overseas clients and statutory process
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills
  • Self motivated, aspirational, and result oriented.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Master’s degree in commerce with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA), Cost Accountant (CWA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 1-3 years of work experience.
  • Proficient understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience working in a shared services environment.
  • Applicants with a demonstrated track record in establishing multi-country finance operations, process management, month-end closing procedures, account reconciliation, and financial reporting are preferred.

  • Skilled in team development with the capacity to lead a group of seasoned finance professionals.
  • Experience collaborating with leaders from various regions and adept at managing tasks amidst rapidly evolving expectations, ensuring precision and quality within a metrics-driven setting.
  • Focussed on enhancing the productivity, resource utilization, and competence to successfully execute process transformations
  • Exposure on International assignments on Transitions, Auditing, Consulting or other engagements is an added advantage for this role.
