Pyrometry Technician

As a Pyrometry Technician here at Honeywell, you will play acrucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of temperaturemeasurement instruments and systems. You will be responsible for performingcalibration, verification, and troubleshooting of pyrometry equipment used invarious industrial processes. Your expertise in pyrometry techniques andinstrumentation will contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of ouroperations.

You will report directly to our SR Quality Eng Supervisorand work out of our designated facility in Mexicali. This position requires anon-site work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on ouroperations by ensuring the accuracy and reliability of temperature measurements.Your attention to detail and adherence to industry standards will beinstrumental in maintaining compliance and meeting customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform calibration and verification of temperaturemeasurement instruments and systems.
  • Perform TUS, SAT’s & Radiation reports in compliancewith AMS2750 requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pyrometryequipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of calibration activities andresults.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customerrequirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support processimprovement initiatives.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pyrometry or relatedfield
  • Strong knowledge of pyrometry techniques andinstrumentation
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as AMS 2750
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment
