In this position, you’ll play a crucial role in building a delightful and seamless calling experience across Apple’s devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The Calls Core team builds and maintains systems and API that enable telephony, FaceTime, and CallKit calling. You’ll help us shape the future of voice & video communication across our devices, and you’ll manage a team of bright engineers working mostly in Swift and Objective-C on protocols, frameworks, and daemons.In this role, your responsibilities will include:* Maximizing our team effectiveness by mentoring our high growth employees to succeed in lead roles.* Making the right strategic technology decisions, striking balance between improving the quality of our existing products and investing in new product development.* Shaping product direction by developing vision and building relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders, including: peer engineering teams, the design team, senior software leadership, and the product marketing team.
