KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Design and implement next-generation networking protocols, including HTTP/3, QUIC, and DoH- Conduct design and code reviews, mentoring peers while ensuring high-quality software- Continuously analyze system performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working with HTTP, TLS, C++, and Linux
  • Proven expertise in developing and debugging system-level services in high performance languages like C++ or Swift
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including HTTP, QUIC, TLS, or TCP/IP
  • Experience with concurrency, multithreading, distributed systems, and server architectures
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with proxy systems such as NGINX or Envoy
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code tools
  • Proficiency in performance analysis, debugging, and observability tools
  • A passion for solving complex problems at scale and driving technical innovation
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
