Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Handle both long- and short-term calendar management within the China Creation Center, driving innovative, market-relevant design solutions. Expand the apparel collection specifically for the China market, enhancing the Adidas brand image through heightened relevancy and desirability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Creative Activity
- Actively contribute to working groups to develop compelling design concepts for key product lines.
- Create impactful communication assets to articulate design strategies and vision clearly.
- Ensure that product aesthetics align closely with the creative vision across all touchpoints in the creative and development process.
- Champion innovative ideas, inspiring excellence in product design and technical execution.
- Submit precise design sketches and comprehensive tech packs to the development team within defined timelines.
- Build and strengthen cross-functional, collaborative relationships to drive successful in-house synergy.
- Project & Workflow Management
- Lead project organization and oversee workflows to ensure optimal efficiency within the design team.
- Collaborate across all key milestones to guide and challenge the product development process, ensuring adherence to top-quality standards.
- Enforce adherence to design processes and uphold high standards throughout project execution.
- Manage multiple design capsules with a strategic, priority-focused approach.
- Diligently monitor project timelines to ensure adherence to deadlines and efficient project progression.
- Innovation & Market Benchmarking
- Conduct thorough trend research, staying informed of emerging innovations in design.
- Analyze competitors and market trends to maintain competitive awareness.
- Proactively explore new design processes and technologies to enhance product offerings.
- Maintain a robust understanding of the market while integrating cutting-edge advancements into designs.

- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience and expertise in developing high-impact communication tools.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Sporting Goods or Fashion Industry.
- Proven expertise in managing the end-to-end design process, including project planning, design development, and execution.
- Strong passion for Adidas and its mission.
