• In collaboration with the Senior Workplace Manager, develop and implement a preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance plan.
• Identify optimization opportunities for existing infrastructure and lead root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Track the end of life/functional obsolescence and develop a five year capital plan to ensure replacements and upgrades are achieved in a timely fashion.
• Partner with the maintenance manager to ensure the appropriate spare parts inventory is on hand.
• Partner with the engineering team and Health & Safety to ensure the management of change process is followed and ensure optimization projects are implemented seamlessly and safely.
• Act as a consultant to assist the Workplace Managers at our other North American DCs on conveyor topics.
• Manage external services to develop and ensure optimal provision of assigned adidas services at the respective region
• Manage and steer operational processes of services. Ensure all service-related qualities, policies, standards and processes to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
• Independent responsibility for quality management, e.g. workshops for steering service providers or for quality assurance and process optimisation
• Internal and external communication (customers, service providers, suppliers)
• Introduce and ensure a leadership culture based on adidas principles within the entire department and across all hierarchical levels
• Drive team performance through setting clear expectations and priority management.
• Foster team behaviour that drives learning and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring operator’s responsibility and employer obligations with regard to occupational health and safety, for the respective area of responsibility, in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines, as well as minimizing possible risks.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree with a focus on facility management, industrial engineer, economics or related fields or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Minimum 7 years working experience in respective area
• 2+ years of experience in leading a business area and in people management
• Experience in medium to large project or program management
• Experience with materials handling equipment operations
