Stand-up a program to manage the glidepath to achieve the scalable application of AI capabilities to the operational risk management and compliance risk management data sets
Lead analysis through collection, analysis, review, documentation and communication of business needs and requirements, to understand requirements and aligning to standards to drive appropriate solutions; acts as an advisor other teams on operational or process related enhancements and decisions.
Independently analyzes large and complex datasets to support the design of analytics-driven solutions, including the development of data visualization tools and sophisticated reporting, to enhance senior decision making.
Assess the current and target state data needs to support the sustainable generation of advanced analytics and data-driven insights
Define operating model enhancements required to improve our data environment
Conduct analyses to inform analytical and AI tool selection, manage portions of the implementation, and inform/manage the training of AI models
Inform the AI use case catalogue and its prioritization for Operational Risk Management
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of data driven projects and various reporting solutions.
Identifies opportunities to enhance and leads the implementation of common data and data standards, common processes, and integrated technology platforms.
Drives analysis and presents findings in various senior forums including stakeholder discussions and regulatory engagements; ensures findings and analyses are disseminated in a polished manner that is easily understood by Operational Risk and business professionals at all levels.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience in Banking, Finance, or related consulting with a focus on data analysis.
Experience leading analytical programs with a focus on data science, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
Demonstratable experience building data models and/or use of analytics tools/applications for more advanced use cases.
A penchant for story telling using data and visualizations to socialize findings and insights to key executives and stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communications skills including the ability to track deliverables, and articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging; developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and potentially convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional stakeholders.
Ability to effectively prioritize projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts; capable of navigating ambiguity and problem-solving complex issues in a heavily matrixed corporate environment.
Experience as a Program Manager or demonstrated experience working within large, strategic cross-functional teams to identify stakeholders, understand business needs, and drive decision-making or resolution.
Highly organized and motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and a teamwork oriented approach
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization within and across project teams, functions and business units.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (advanced expertise in Excel, SharePoint, Teams a plus).
Proficiency in Tableau preferred.
Education:
Degree in finance, accounting, analytics, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related data science or finance / economics with relevant work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Relevant certifications a plus.
