Job Description
Involve in product development and evaluate the design for manufacturability and reliability by participating in design reviews and the assembly of the prototype units.
Drive continuous improvement to minimize Cycle time/Quality issues.
Perform First Article qualifications for parts and obsolescence components.
Generate and Maintain process and equipment work instructions, drawings, and other production document to conform to specifications.
Perform detailed Failure analysis on Infant Mortality parts andcome up withproposal and concepts to enhance performance.
Apply 8D troubleshooting, including driving learning and standardization to improve spare part quality.
Create ECO (Engineering Change Orders), Structuring BOMs and creating test and assembly documentation as needed.
Provide fly and fix support on field escalations for analysis/resolution on any issue requiring in-depth knowledge on the product.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s/bachelor’s degree in mechanicalengineering/MechatronicsEngineering with 2 or more years of experience in high-mix-low-volume manufacturing
Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design principles, machine elements, materials, and fabrication methods.
Proficient with CAD,
Good Understanding of the Pneumatics, Computers, controls systems and sensors involved in Electromechanical stage/Robot.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues, set-up experiments, and perform data analysis.
Ability to read and understand Mechanical drawings and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments as needed.
Experience in semiconductor equipment industry /manufacturing is preferred.
