Product Marketing is a global role, founded on solution area subject matter expertise, that holds key accountabilities in four broad areas:

  • Partnering closely with R&D teams to align technology innovation to the greatest customer need and market opportunity to maximize value for SAP and our customers.
  • Owning all aspects of the product value proposition lifecycle from product release readiness gate, announcement & on-going product communications, and digital customer journey, demonstrating deep customer, competitor & market understanding at each step.
  • Defining the global marketing plan and then delivering this plan through and with the M&S discipline expert teams, ultimately ensuring that customers, partners, analysts, and press across the world understand, believe, and desire the value of SAP solutions.
  • Owning the global SAP sales and partner sales enablement content to ensure our direct and channel sales teams can hit their targets.

The Product Marketing functions require deep subject matter expertise (SME) of their product/solution area and the ability to represent this depth to stakeholders inside and outside the company.

What you will do:

  • Represent and Proxy for the President of Concur Travel strategy in meetings with Customer Success, Product Engineering, Marketing groups, External Travel Suppliers, Industry conferences, ELT meetings and others.
  • Ensure articulation of the unique business value of integration between Concur Travel and Expense working with Product Marketing to create compelling marketing programs that engage audiences across the customer lifecycle.
  • Support strategy/interaction with market stakeholders such as Analyst Relations, Travel Consultants, Public Relations, Events, Field, Solution, and Global Marketing along with internal communications, and other communication channels (i.e., social media) to deliver thought leader messages into the market.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of proven high-impact analytical approach, strategy creation, or product marketing.
  • 7+ years of proven corporate travel experience (@GDS, TMC, Corporate Payments, Airline, Hotel, OBT)
  • Track record of success building driving strategy development, marketing plans, executing with a performance management lens and an ability to work through ambiguity.
  • Travel industry / ecosystem awareness to understand and capitalize on trends to drive portfolio differentiation, growth, and messaging
  • Strong collaborator who can manage across the organization, working with teams such as Customer Success, Enablement, Marketing, Product Engineering, Finance and Operations.
  • Experienced communicator, with strong oral and written communication skills, who is capable of influencing others and presenting at Industry events.
  • Confidently and eloquently represents the business value of our solutions.
  • MBA or equivalent work experience.
