Your key responsibilities
- As part of the role, the candidate is expected to:
- Lead ESG risk assessment and management projects for clients across various sectors.
- Develop and implement ESG strategies and policies to enhance clients' sustainability performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on ESG-related risks and opportunities.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and project timelines.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership and ESG risk methodologies.
- Engage in mentoring and coaching junior team members to build their ESG risk competencies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and expertise.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals.
- Manage multiple assignments and related project teams.
- Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with the client
- Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications related to sustainability or ESG are preferred.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in ESG risk management or sustainability consulting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in sustainability reporting standards and frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in English and adeptness with MS Office, data analysis tools, and sustainability reporting software.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and business development.
