Your key responsibilities

As a Manager, you will lead and manage a group of team members in delivering strategy and transactions assignments. You will take an active role in business development activities including involvement in the preparation of proposals and presentation to prospective clients.


In addition, you will have responsibility for the following:

  • Financial analysis to assess business performance, profitability, cost structures, and strategic fit. This includes benchmarking, forecasting, breakeven analysis, and identifying improvement opportunities based on market and financial insights.
  • Develop and / or review financial model for strategic planning, capital allocation, transaction support, investment appraisal, financial planning and reporting purposes
  • Conduct project feasibility studies and investment appraisals, encompassing industry and market analysis, identification of business opportunities, preparation of financial projections and investment return analysis, as well as assessment of key risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Perform business valuation for transaction and financial reporting purposes
  • Perform economic impact assessments for public and private sector initiatives, quantifying the broader economic, social, and fiscal implications of projects or policies.
  • Oversee project delivery by managing timelines, resources, and quality assurance processes. Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and insights are clearly conveyed through presentations, reports, and workshops.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance on technical work, client interaction, and career development.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably corporate finance in an investment bank, professional services firm or boutique firm
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA.
  • Leadership skills especially in areas of Project Management and People Management
  • Project financing knowledge, with understanding of project financial modelling and financing markets
  • Strong numerical, financial and modelling skills based on a well-developed understanding of financial statements
  • Sound commercial judgment and an ability to generate creative solutions to problems

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Transactions experience
  • Client facing experience from a professional services background
  • High degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed
  • A passion to provide high quality service to your clients
