Digital Strategy and Governance – Manager - Sr. Manager
You will work closely with the EY Technology Strategy and Transformation leadership to grow the practice in MENA. You will involve and lead, as required, in
- EY’s Go-To-Market activities.
- Digital Strategy & Roadmap development.
- Proposal development, and
- Delivery across the full lifecycle of Digital Strategy projects, its initiatives and subsequent implementation ( if any), targeting organizations across all domains and sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with the client’s business goals and objectives.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of digital transformation efforts and report on progress to senior leadership.
- Establish and maintain effective governance policies, frameworks, and procedures to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to explore, evaluate, and adopt emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, blockchain, cloud computing, and data analytics.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the client organization, encouraging the adoption of agile methodologies and design thinking.
- Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for process improvements and customer engagement enhancements through digital initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay abreast of technological advancements and best practices.
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting continuous learning and professional development in digital competencies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and cybersecurity best practices in all digital initiatives.
- Drive change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and minimize resistance.
- Lead client design sessions, facilitating requirements workshops and interacting with functional and/or business process area subject matter resources.
- Actively look for opportunities to build and grow the EY’s Technology Strategy competency.
- Participate in key external events and meetings — client meetings, presentations, and roundtable etc.
- Develop client-specific reporting processes and integration components.
- Build and leverage personal external networks and relationships.
- Participate in and/or lead the core account(s) most strategic pursuits.
- Work with the MENA leadership team to develop a market execution plan for Digital Strategy & Governance offerings.
- Provide trusted advice on how digital transformation and technology enablement can lead to improved performance.
Qualifications and Skill sets
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or similar discipline; supported by experience in a similar technical environment. Post graduation in Management is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 10+ years of digital transformation role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing digital technologies and transforming business operations.
- Strong understanding of current and emerging digital trends and technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with agile project management methodologies and tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and meeting business objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel to Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to meet client needs on short notice.
