Semi-Custom and Central IP Siliconin developing semicustom silicon and logical acceleration and analog IPand industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage andthe Cloud infrastructure.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 9+ years of related technical engineering experience
  • ORBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience or internship experience
  • ORMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience or internship experience
  • OR Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience.
  • 8+ years ofcomputerarchitecture, design and/or modeling experience.
  • 3+years of experiencein one or more of the following fields,LosslessData compression algorithms(such asZ standardor industry related) ornonvolatile memory express (NVMe)and storage technologyorDevice Virtualization (single root I/O virtualization (SRIOV)or Scalable IO Virtualization (SIOV))

  • Modelling Experience
  • 3+ years of experienceindevelopingfunctional / performancecycle or bit-accurate C/C++ models
  • Knowledge inone or more of the following areasisa plus
  • standard interfaces such as AMBA AXI, PCIe, CXL, and DDR/LPDDR is preferred
  • Confidential compute and security needs
  • QoS mechanisms
  • Accelerator Use Cases that are tightly coupled with compute cores – Crypto, Compression, Packet Parsing, Filtering
  • Experience designing and architecting complicated IPs and SoCs.
  • Effective communication skills to influence Azure business and engineering teams.

    • Workingwith System and SoC architects on functional and performance requirements anddeveloping architecturalmodelsfor analysis,trade-off studies, and guiding implementation
  • Willbe responsible forengagingwith internaland externalpartnersforbest in classdevelopment
  • Supportimplementation teamsin pre and post silicon to ensure features and performance meet the architectural requirements
