- Hands-on experience with wired & WiFi networks.
- Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all physical infrastructure and systems.
- Build plans to optimize power, cooling, and network resources.
- Assist with incidents, help identify root cause, create plans and implement mediation.
- Participate in PagerDuty rotation.
- Configure and manage global PDU infrastructure. Integrate with monitoring systems to calculate PUE, generate alerts, and create reports.
- Lead DCIM implementation and adoption. Track assets across multiple locations, reduce asset retrieval time, and maintain 99.99%+ accuracy.
- Have 7+ years of experience in large-scale data center hardware deployments, building data centers and directly lead data center relocation projects.
- BS, BA, or BEng degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize effectively, and experience with technical project management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of users and staff.
- Strong collaborative skills with ability to work cross functionally to resolve complex issues and meet project timelines.
- Experience developing and reviewing MOPs and SOPs.
- Work autonomously with minimal direction.
- Build automation tools that eliminate routine tasks. Every manual process is an opportunity to code a solution.
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems administration and command-line diagnostic tools.
