You will report directly to Sr. manager of Global Operational Excellence
In this role, you will…
- Driving projects in areas of efficiency in the worlds of operations by Leading cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of value stream processes by eliminating waste and adding value.
- Building and managing performance evaluation processes that provide reliable, clear and real-time information, which also consider financial aspects, and support better decision-making processes
- Collaborating with stakeholders across departments to standardize processes, improve workflow, and optimize resource utilization.
- Leading & Implementing tools and techniques such as Kaizen events, Analysis of expenses and losses "loss tree", 5S, VSM, and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvement and achieve operational excellence (Responsible for preparation, execution, and aftercare within the assigned work area)
- Measure progress and targeting of results from improvement projects against the OpEx Roadmap
- Establish key performance indicator (KPI) and follow-up on the portfolio of projects, to ensure results are measured and achieved, including monthly business reporting.
- Lead operational diagnostics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensuring commitment for change and enabling the continuous sustainment of change initiatives
- Striving to implement excellence culture through ambassadors’ community & production management with a positive impact and creation of environment of passion for continuous improvement
- Promote & lead lean education within the teams as part of lean maturity roadmap and excellence knowledge matrix
- Developing matrix relationships to involve process experts and conduct improvement activities using problem solving techniques of Lean 6 sigma methodology
In this role, you will need …
- Bachelor's degree in industrial and management, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 8 years + experience of working in operations world.
- Green belt certification and above & Proven experience in lean manufacturing methodologies (VSM/Kaizen/5S/Problem solving/DMAIC etc..)
- Knowledge of industry best practices and standards related to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Experienced in managing complex and operational challenges
- Master at identifying issues, driving to root cause and able to negotiate solutions outcomes based on cost benefit analysis linked to business objectives
- Competent use of statistics related to business improvement metrics and operational performance
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with internal customers
- Foster open upward and downward communication within the organization built on mutual respect
- Well-developed and effective verbal and written communication skills used in collaborating with peers and employees at all levels of the organization
- Project management skills to manage the process from start to full implementation
