AWS is hiring for our Wickr Product Team. Wickr is an innovative product developed with the industry’s most secure, end-to-end encrypted, communication technology. With Wickr, customers and partners benefit from advanced security features not available with traditional communications services – across messaging, voice and video calling, file sharing, and collaboration. This gives security conscious enterprises and government agencies the ability to implement important governance and security controls to help them meet their compliance requirements.Key job responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain high performance Android applications
- Continuously explore new trends and incorporate emerging technologies for native Android development.
- Lead code and design reviews to give constructive feedback and seek it as well.
- Work with product managers and other leaders to identify ways to improve user experience.
- Help maintain a fully automated CI build processes for the app and its various in-house built dependencies.
- Work with engineers developing our various infrastructure components to help integrate new features into the Android app
- Attend meetings and standups as required to support the Company’s development efforts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of Android development experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
