Purpose:
The Manufacturing Engineer II provides vital support to our Manufacturing organization, ensuring efficient operations within the production area. You will focus on optimizing existing processes and meeting our ambitious production goals. Emphasis is on supporting, developing, modifying, and troubleshooting Equipment/Process requirements, with a specific dedication to process ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes, for current and next generation programs.
- Prepare reports, publish findings, and communicate recommendations efficiently.
- Own and drive process, equipment value improvement projects, and strategic cost projects within designated areas.
- Work collaboratively with Quality and Research and Development teams to integrate new products or processes and address quality concerns.
- Evaluate and lead the implementation of new Equipment/processes through best practices in research, analysis, and selection.
- Provide inputs on Equipment/Systems issues, offering corrective or alternative actions based on thorough analyses.
- Foster continuous improvement by interfacing with peers and cross-functional groups to enhance workflows and methodologies.
- Understand and incorporate business policies and customer needs, with a keen insight into emerging technology trends.
e:
- Hons BSC Engineering degree (Level 8)
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Boston Scientific systems is advantageous.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the initiative to work independently.
- Excellent team collaboration skills.

- Experience with Laser Welding processes is preferred.
