Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using DBT , Python , and AWS services (Lambda, Glue, S3, etc.).
• Manage and optimize Snowflake data warehouse environments, including performance tuning, data modeling, and access control.
• Integrate data from Charles River , Everest , and other financial platforms into the centralized data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, models, and integrations.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all stages of the data lifecycle.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production data workflows to ensure reliability and availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a data engineering or similar role.
• Proficiency with Python for data processing and scripting.
• Strong experience with AWS data services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift, etc.
• Expertise in Snowflake data warehouse, including SnowSQL, performance tuning, and secure data sharing.
• Hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.
• Familiarity or experience with Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) and Everest (or similar asset management systems).
• Solid understanding of SQL , relational databases, and modern data architecture.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and using CI/CD pipelines for data deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in Asset Management , Investment Operations , or Financial Services .
• Experience integrating data from market data providers, custodians, or portfolio accounting systems.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SEC).
