What you'll do...
What you'll do:
Build systems that ingest data from a large number of in-store devices and various data sources.
Participate in small to large sized projects by reviewing project requirements into technical solutions; gather requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); write and develop code; conduct unit testing; communicate status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborate with project teams and cross functional teams; troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes; and ensure on-time delivery and hand-offs.
Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause), engage support teams to assist in resolution of issues, formulate an action plan, performing actions as designated in plan, interpret the results to determine further action, and complete online documentation.
Develop complex software features to streamline and scale support for in-store digital experiences
Develop web pages in Svelte using API's from Java and Spring Boot
Assist with the designs and development of systems and methods in order to ensure the quality and guide the product through all stages of user acceptance process.
What you'll bring:
Experience programming reactive websites using libraries like Svelte/React
Experience building websites using modern frameworks like SvelteKit and Next
Proficiency using browser-based web development tools
Experience implementing software testing including unit tests and integration tests
Familiarity with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
Experience in using SQL for database management and manipulation
Understanding of TypeScript and its application in software development
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong understanding of the full software development life cycle
Preferred skills:
Experience working in AdTech with demonstrated knowledge of the AdTech business.
Previous experience in a retail tech environment.
Familiarity with in-store digital advertising systems.
Experience in using large-scale data processing systems.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Experience in managing data on Redis.
Familiarity with compiling code via Looper.
Knowledgeable in Walmart Cloud Native Platform (WCNP) or similar cloud platforms.
Experience with Kubernetes containers.
Proficiency in using Rancher Desktop.
Experience in using Splunk for log management.
Familiarity with Prometheus for event monitoring and alerting.
Experience in using Grafana and Grafana k6 for data visualization.
