Create layouts using capacity analysis for headcount, equipment, and space requirements. Present findings and layout recommendations to cross functional team members to gain alignment.
Ensure the company interests are met when working with external vendors that perform work onsite.
Designs, implements, and maintains effective metrics to drive year over year improvements.
Participates as a core member in cross-functional teams
Makes recommendations to engineering teams, which drive higher yielding, lower cost, lower cycle time, more manufacturable products. May use financial analysis tool and recommend alternative courses of action.
Convinces internal customers to make fundamental changes to their manufacturing and/or business processes so that unbridled supply can be achieved, including right sizing inventories in warehouse and manufacturing line.
Develops and coordinates ergonomic projects.
Requirements
B.S Industrial Engineering degree required.
3-4 years’ experience in manufacturing and operations industry
High analytical skills and data-driven
Knowledge of Manufacturing Science (scheduling/dispatching, Lean, capacity planning, etc.)
Proven experience in methods engineering & correction.
