What you'll do:

• Build and iterate new product functionality which allows users to collaboratively transform their business processes

• Contribute to the entire cycle of product development, from first ideas and brainstorming sessions to continuously delivering improvements based on customer data

• Solve technical challenges of high scope and complexity building cloud-native backends which are used in the entire Signavio Suite

• Work closely with an experienced feature team including products owner, architect, designer, frontend and backend engineers in an agile setup

• Build on a modern cloud-native stack and infrastructure

What you bring:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering

• Proficient programming skills in Java and a solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures and algorithms.

• Solid foundation on using relational databases. Existing experience with database schema change management tools like Liquibase or Flyway is a plus.

• Experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems.

• Experience developing and documenting RESTful APIs.

• Experience in writing automated tests.

• Experience in working with containerized applications and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes).

• Foundational knowledge of using and managing infrastructure in a cloud provider (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Motivation to work in an agile environment.

• Proficient English language skills, both in written and verbal form.

Nice to have:

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). Existing experience with a pipeline orchestrator like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure Pipelines. Knowledge of continuous delivery tools like ArgoCD is a plus.

• Experience with modern, cloud-native Java frameworks like Quarkus or Micronaut.
