Process Overview
Enterprise Independent Testing – Data, Infrastructure and Strategic Initiatives team is responsible for all the automation aspects of testing process, ensuring quality of data, independent testing of corporate & business level process and regulatory controls by providing seamless access to the appropriate data & platforms required to execute the associated portfolio of tests.
Job Description
Drive initiatives within the Analytics process as well as across EIT and lead internal councils like OPEX, Knowledge Sharing etc.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 10+ associates
- Work as a mentor to the team and managers on various business and technical requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to work on delivering various solutions to meet business requirements
- Prepare results, reports and dashboards; present it to seniormanagement/leadershipteam
- Ensure team meets expected KPIs
- Delegate project tasks based on the individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
- Manage the development and performance management of the aligned team
- Validate the current risk and compliance procedures; identify probable gaps and issues
- Drive remediation plans, for deficiencies identified, to be addressed by concerned stakeholders.
- Track and report remediation activities for performance metrics
- Ensure adherence to the SLA’s/metrics – productivity, turn-around time and accuracy
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Supporting the delivery lead with few critical responsibilities
- Connect frequently with the team and respective managers
- Manage onshore and offshore stakeholders with respect to process level activities
- Work with India leadership team to manage department level initiatives
- Ensuring timely resolutions ofQueries/clarifications
Requirements:
Education: Graduates or Post-Graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering/B.Tech/B.E./M.C.A/ M.B.A (IT)
: 12+ years of experience with financial or banking industry
Foundational skills:
- 6-7 years of Hands on experience in SQL & Data Warehousing
- Strong Business Analysis / Audit/ Risk Modelling skills to review data and derive inferences for management team
- Significant experience in Project, People and Stakeholder Management
- Strong work management skills and experience as SME
- Strong research, analytic, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office suite with strong experience in Excel
- Ability to rapidly assess and re-prioritize work
- Able to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously while being flexible and responsive to changing environments
- Adopt a pragmatic approach and think smart to come up with relevant tools & techniques for business challenges
- Leverage latest methodologies and tools to build analyticalsolutions/applications
- Ability to work cross-functionally, and across borders to effectively execute the goals
- Partner with technical teams to implement developedsolutions/applicationsin production environment
- Ability to recommend and implement process control improvements
- Strong customer service focus and time management skills
- Flexible to shift changes at short notice
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes
Desired Skills:
- Any experience in Operational Risk, Audit or Compliance domain
- Experience in Python as a scripting tool
