We’re looking for a senior technical program manager with a proven track record of developing and maintaining complex software platforms, tools, and processes that help deliver new end-to-end consumer experiences.
You will be the program manager responsible for supporting Apple’s speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies. You work closely with both the Speech engineering teams and partners who will adopt this technology for their own internal and external use cases. You will act as the subject matter expert, gathering requirements and slotting these needs into the overall speech recognition roadmap. You will be responsible for leading partner adoption and ensuring the success of the partner team.Execute: Drive on-time delivery and deployment, identifying development and feasibility needs, establishing achievements for checkpoints and status updates.
- 7+ years of experience in software project or program management for consumer products
- Experience with software powered by statistical learning (machine learning and/or deep learning)
- Excellent project management skills, including project structuring and leading multiple work streams cross-functionally
- Have personally orchestrated the delivery of software products requiring large organizations (50+) to execute
- Thorough understanding of testing, build and release processes for complex software
- BS/MS/PhD with a focus in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Agile, SDLC development processes
- Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, conflict resolution, and management
- Superior group facilitation, interviewing, and influence skills
- Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently handle complex project objectives
