As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our team's mission, which includes:

New Engineering Development (Research and Development): Innovate and pioneer new solutions.

Upkeep and Maintenance (Refactoring): Optimize and enhance existing systems.

Problem Solving (Support): Troubleshoot and provide solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with product and tool owners, program managers, developers, security experts, architects, and global security colleagues to define and implement the infrastructure toolset essential for SAP Sovereign Cloud operations. Your tasks will encompass proof of concepts (POCs) and productive tool development and integration, providing you with hands-on experience in various DevOps tasks.

In addition to the classified nature of our work, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• 15+ years of technical professional experience in SAP Product Offerings

• Specifically in-depth experience with S/4HANA, S/4HANA PCE and IBP

• Extensive experience in researching and integrating SAP product features for deployments

• Proficiency in technologies such as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

• Strong knowledge of public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, and Azure) and their product offerings.

• Solid understanding of Cloud infrastructure, architecture, and design.

• Experience with security tools like HashiCorp Vault.

• Previous experience in enterprise-level team.

• Strong mentorship abilities

• Knowledge of Bash scripting language.

• Strong decision-making skills and a can-do attitude.

• Methodological and conceptual skills paired with analytical thinking.

• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Persistence, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

15+ years of professional experience in Cloud Delivery-related fields and technologies.

4+ years of Automation experience.
