Collect delinquent accounts in a timely, orderly and professional manner while following all standardized collections procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Collect assigned accounts to a minimum efficiency of 95% or better.
2. Meet or exceed performance expectations for collection efforts based upon individual goals and objectives, e.g., minimum contacts per day, repossession inventory, past due budget.
3. Process customer drafts, fee waivers, Right to Cure and other deferrals on accounts based on written policy guidelines.
4. Order updated credit bureau reports or initiate the skip tracing process in accordance with established guidelines.
5. Document all collections efforts in accordance with established procedures.
6. Process customers' payments through electronic draft.
7. Communicate regularly with management regarding the status of problem accounts.
8. Perform general customer service duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone skills
3. Excellent interpersonal skills
4. Strong decision making and problem solving ability
5. Ability to work with others
6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as MS Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Prior collections experience
2. Knowledge of collections, bankruptcy, repossession and Right to Cure laws
