As a Senior Production Scheduler here at Honeywell, you will be leading globally across the supply chain network to gather and manage information about our businesses' capacity to meet customer demand. You will report directly to our [title] and you will work out of our Kanata, Ontario location. In this role, you will impact and improve the supply chain planning & execution process within the Aerospace Technologies (AT) business. You will execute the vision and goals for your Materials Planning function and manage the people and processes to achieve excellence in SIOP, supply planning, inventory & replenishment planning management, and resolution of supply chain issues. As the Senior Production Scheduler, you will lead the activities related to the purchase of material, material planning, production planning, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. You will lead the development of AOP and STRAP, provide direction to your team to achieve organizational objectives, and drive functional excellence and continuous improvement. You will be a proven team leader and can lead complex global project teams.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute the monthly plan (SIOP) and all associated initiatives within the business to achieve on-time shipments to meet internal and external customer needs
  • Liaison between cross-functional departments; i.e. Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing
  • Run clear to build analysis and release Work Orders without shortages per the start/finish dates in SAP
  • Develop weekly build plan and linearity plan to support site shipments and Supply Quarterly Planning
  • Review Master Production Schedule plan between execution (1-4 weeks) and planning (5-13 weeks) window to identify shortages for assigned outlines and escalate
  • Identify & engage procurement partners (Buyers) for external supply gaps based on escalation triggers
  • Identify & engage internal operation teams for internal supply gaps based on escalation triggers.
  • Ensure part shortages are loaded into Command Center and attend/lead war room review meetings for updates and escalations
  • Monitor and manage Kanban material levels
  • Monitor and manage external material processes, and main stock room shipments
  • Responsible for identifying areas for process improvement and development within all levels of the operations
  • Accountable for team key metrics: Inventory accuracy; safety stock; customer on-time delivery (OTTR); Drive root cause and corrective actions


YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in manufacturing, supply chain
  • Knowledge and experience using SAP as production planner/scheduler (production ERP)
  • Post-secondary education in supply chain, business management, or other related field
