The ideal individual will be comfortable with designing mechanical systems for mounting cameras, optics, other sensors, wiring, computer systems and supporting infrastructure. - BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with prototyping and implementation

- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume
- Experience with mechanical system limitations and impact to sensitivity of sensing systems
- Familiarity with industrial camera systems, and other types of industrial sensing and controls.
- Strong interest and ability to learn customer requirements in the data collection space.
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop software for experimental prototyping purpose.
- Ability to design, acquire, and prototype mechanical systems and components to support sensor data collection.
