- Lead an engineering org of Data Engineers, Generative-AI Engineers, and GenAI Solution Architects (7+ FTEs), cultivating a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Support product teams with technical requirements gathering and user-story definition, ensuring engineering deliverables align with clinical and regulatory expectations.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating commercial and clinical priorities into actionable backlogs and communicating progress and risks.
- Define and deliver the technical roadmap for data ingestion, feature stores, vector databases, and LLM-powered services—aligning outcomes with business OKRs and budget.
- Oversee architecture and code reviews for RAG pipelines, fine-tuning workflows, prompt-ops, and model-governance processes to ensure scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Embed observability, drift monitoring, and alignment guardrails throughout data and model lifecycles, targeting ≥ 99.9 percent uptime and rapid MTTR.
- Drive MLOps and LLMOps best practices including CI/CD automation, model registries, evaluation suites, and optimize GPU and accelerator utilization and cost governance.
- Partner with Product, Security, and Compliance to translate business needs into AI solutions and communicate risk-reward trade-offs to executive stakeholders.
