Position objective

Primary responsibilities:

As a key member of the Honeywell APAC security team, the responsibilities encompass all aspects of security with a particular focus on infrastructure and travel security, protection of people and assets. Additional focus will include standards and procedures, awareness training, and driving security cultural change in order to meet HGS strategy.

Responsible for proactively planning and managing security projects across India and in South Asia including the development, implementation and oversight of project security plans.

Ensures organizational compliance with business security requirements and tasks in order to protect the Organization, its infrastructure, assets and employees, as well as the interests of its customers.

Cooperate with LLE (Local law enforcement) for incidents that occur onsite and incidents pertaining to employees that require intervention with LLE.

Builds tailored security awareness programs to support prevention of workplace violence, personal security and protection of assets and proprietary data.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Regional Security Leader relating to advisory and consulting services, security risk & site assessment, surveys and related security services and concerns.

Position profile:

Must Have

• 6-8 years Corporate security management experience within a large organization with multi locational footprints in India
• Significant knowledge of India security practices, specifically focused around Physical Security, travel security with demonstrated experience and exposure of working within India
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence internal stakeholders

• Project management experience of holistic security solutions in support of high-risk projects and travel
• Demonstrated background in the delivery of security services with knowledge and experience in crisis management and business continuity management
• Good knowledge and awareness of latest security technology, Electronic systems viewed favorably.
• Strong knowledge of Security risk management methodologies and supply chain security
• Specialized education/certifications in Security management, physical and organizational security is desirable
• Has good network of within the Security industry in India and in South Asia
