Director, Card Risk: Channels

Responsibilities:

• Work with business partners to validate risk processes impacting the company's bottom line

• Consult with Executives to determine interaction model with Lines of Business to create positive relationships

• Drive finalization of risk category and subcategory framework

• Perform critical assessments on risk categories to mitigate risk to the company

• Perform extensive gap assessments and create recommendations to ensure smart business decisions

• Use analytical skills to conduct Risk Process Improvement, Process Design & Process Excellence

• Large scale Process Management/Governance

• Work with dynamic teams on Departmental Process Management & Execution

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 7 years of experience working in risk management or financial services

• At least 5 years of program management experience

• At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients

• At least 5 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree

• 10+ years of Financial Services risk management experience

• 7+ years of experience in Project or Process Management

• 7+ years of internal strategy or management consulting experience leading cross functional financial services projects and programs

• 7+ years of people management experience

Richmond, VA: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, Risk ManagementThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
