Description
Responsibilities include writing and maintaining automated tests of power consumption, as well as post-processing and reporting of test results. You will also be responsible for running tests, analyzing test results against expectations, and debugging observed battery life issues. You'll be running many different tests at a time across many different scenarios and need to keep careful track of the results - as well as the creativity and initiative to help us proactively identify new opportunities to improve our workflow.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong QA experience in test planning/strategy/methodologies
  • Proficient in a scripting language (such as Python)
  • Experience in automated test execution and maintaining automated tests
  • Self-sufficient in debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • System level knowledge of hardware and software is preferred
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $195,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
