What you’ll do

Responsibilities:

• Managing and optimizing networks in a hyperscaler environment based on Microsoft Azure to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design network architectures, and implement solutions that meet customer needs

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring high availability and performance of the SDN infrastructure

• Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to optimize network performance and scalability

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures

• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and actively participate in professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and skills

What you bring

• Minimum 5 years experience in network engineering, preferably in the SDN environment

• Experience with cloud or other SDN network solutions, including network authentication and authorization

• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing software-defined network solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform is a plus

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway and Load Balancer

• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing software-defined networking solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform are a plus

• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, DNS and security principles

• Experience with encryption protocols/technologies for data protection, including VPN, IPSec, and TLS

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, C++, Java, Python, Perl for network automation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex network issues
