About this role:

provide support for watchlist management activities for the sanctions screening systems within the Global Sanctions Office.

Covers jobs focused on developing data and/or system requirements and implementing technical strategies and data solutions to meet the business needs.

: Covers jobs within the Military Apprentice program. Jobs are part of the U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program, perform a variety of structured duties, including a combination of on-the-job training, coursework and mentorship, under the supervision of a hiring manager, program manager and a mentor.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems

  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements

  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems.

  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions

  • Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes

  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables.

  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams

  • Apprentices within the U.S. Department of Labor accredited Apprenticeship program perform a variety of structured duties, including a combination of (however, not limited to) on-the-job training, coursework and mentorship, under the supervision of a hiring manager, program manager and a mentor. Apprenticeships are designed to assist in the professional development of an apprentice, in preparation for the post-apprenticeship role. Program Managers will facilitate an apprentice’s required path for professional development. This ensures an apprentice will have gained the proficiency and obtained the required experience of a fully functioning Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Compliance or Risk Management

  • Experience with OFAC sanctions programs or listings, or experience with an equivalent sanctions regime

  • Experience with sanctions screening platforms, including Fircosoft

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members

  • Ability to collaborate with 3rd party vendors, internal technology groups and other compliance groups

  • Ability to write clearly and concisely

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Manage a dynamic testing schedule

  • Meet testing Service Level Agreements

  • Conduct effective root cause analysis test results

Job Expectations:

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Enrollment into Wells Fargo's DOL Registered Apprentice Program is required. Apprentices are considered full-time employees within the program. As such, Apprentices are expected to not only uphold and adhere to Wells Fargo and the Apprenticeship Program, but also expected to follow Wells Fargo's prescribed policies, procedures, and employee expectations
