Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret BEPS Pillar 2 regulations, including the GloBE rules, to assess their impact on the company's tax position.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure compliance with the Income Inclusion Rule (IIR) and the Undertaxed Payments Rule (UTPR).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to gather necessary data and align tax strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor international tax developments and advise on potential implications for the company's tax planning and compliance efforts.
  • Prepare and review tax calculations related to the global minimum tax, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the GloBE rules.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on BEPS Pillar 2 requirements and best practices.
  • Participate in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and reports, ensuring they reflect the company's compliance with BEPS Pillar 2.
  • Assist with tax audits and inquiries related to international tax matters, including those pertaining to BEPS Pillar 2.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in international tax, with a strong focus on BEPS Pillar 2 and global tax compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of OECD tax guidelines and experience with tax laws in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
