Key job responsibilities
As a QA Manager on the Device Content & Advertisement team, you will:
Develop and implement quality strategies, standards, and best practices
Establish quality metrics and KPIs to measure and improve product qualityDrive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, including automation frameworks
Mentor and develop QA Engineers to grow their technical and leadership skillsReport quality status to senior leadership and stakeholdersA day in the life
Your day would include leading team stand-ups, reviewing test strategies, and participating in cross-functional planning meetings. You'll work with PMs, TPMs, and developers to clarify requirements, lead bug triage sessions, and prioritize quality efforts. You'll coach your team on test approaches and automation strategies while tracking progress across multiple workstreams. You'll also collaborate with QA leadership in the US, coordinating efforts across time zones and providing knowledge sharing sessions to ensure consistent quality practices.
- 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- 3+ years of quality assurance teams management experience
- Experience managing manual testers
- Experience managing automation testers
- Experience testing web technologies and back-end services
- Experience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA background
- Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
- Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation
