The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Governance team responsibilities include to (i) Draft and maintain policies, supporting standards, controls, and training; (ii) Interpret and clarify regulatory requirements relative to ERM-owned programs; (iii) Review and improve governance practices across ERM programs. ERM programs include Risk Identification, Strategic Risk, and Stress Testing.
Job description
- Design and implement ERM governance documentation including policies, standards, and controls to ensure firm's adherence to requirements
- Design training materials aligned with policies, standards and controls
- Perform gap analysis of existing policies to Regulatory requirements
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy changes
- Partner, collaborate, and work with other areas - first, second, and third lines of defense
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Risk Management function with a bank, Financial Services consulting, or regulatory body
- Understanding of Risk Identification and Strategic Risk regulatory requirements
- Experience with Risk Identification and/or Strategic Risk governance and controls
- Proven ability to drive results and meet deadlines
- Highly motivated with attention to detail, team oriented, organized, pro-active
- Ability to assess complex issues and identify potential solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and policy interpretations through concise and clear messaging
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point and Word
Education
- Bachelor's/University degree in a finance, business, or a technical discipline
