Job Description

This position is responsible for Project Controls scheduling function for Operational Start up of new manufacturing facility. The role requires liaison with internal Departments, External Stakeholders and communication with senior management.

The core skills required include:

  • Project Planning & Scheduling within Multi User Primavera P6 Environment
  • Design, Construction, Commissioning, Qualification & Start-up Planning
  • Development of Earned Value Progress Monitoring & Reporting Systems
  • Decision making, Analytical and Problem solving abilities.
  • Strong Leadership, Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Expert user in Primavera Project Management Software (P6 & Pertmaster), Excel,

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree with typically 5 to 10 years experience in the following will be directly applicable:

  • Experience of working in diverse Project Controls environments
  • Proven track record in the development and management of project schedules to support the design, construction and start-up and operation of complex facilities such as cGMP manufacturing facilities, laboratories (Biology, Chemistry, Process Development, Quality, etc), utility plants, warehouse and distribution centre, site infrastructure, administrative buildings, etc.;
  • Demonstrated ability to control project schedule, drive progress and develop mitigation plans
  • Demonstrated ability to provide “what if” scenarios and risk modelling
  • Establish and maintain program drivers and incorporate necessary changes
  • Ability to interface with all levels of Management to team members
  • Able to work in multi function teams of diverse cultural background
  • Strong technical and business problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and conflicting priorities across a broad range of facilities and engineering disciplines
  • Ability to interface with technical, scientific and management internal user groups
  • Experience in providing technical problem solving skills involving sites and functions within the corporation
  • Experience working on medium to large, complexity projects supporting the engineering, construction and start up activities for Manufacturing facilities
