J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management is seeking a highly effective Product Owner to develop and manage the software platform supporting our marketing materials workflow solution. As Product Owner, you will define the strategic vision for the software application and create the product roadmap for the development teams. You’ll understand our business/industry and build close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the team’s efforts are aligned with overall strategy.

You’re an innovative product manager, interested in marrying data and technology with intuitive user interfaces to create high impact solutions that drive business results. You’ve managed software products/platforms. You’re familiar with sales enablement, compliance & controls and/or marketing workflow solutions. You work agile, and have the marketing knowledge necessary to translate user needs into requirements that will help keep J.P. Morgan on the leading edge of a rapidly changing digital landscape.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Product Owner, Marketing Materials Workflow Solution include, but are not limited to:

  • Help execute the product strategy for our global marketing materials workflow platform, to drive client business growth while strengthening marketing compliance controls.
  • Deliver work using Agile methodology.
  • Work with marketing, compliance and business teams to understand and translate the voice of the “customer/client” into user stories for technology partners.
  • Help manage and deliver on product roadmaps, priorities, product documentation, training materials, procedures, and sprint release notes.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, weekly grooming, bi-weekly sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Articulate the product vision and socialize product features/functionalities to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure support issues are resolved on a timely basis.
  • Maintain training resources and troubleshooting guides.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5+ years of business experience in a product manager or business analyst role, for a software product or digital platform.
  • Agile / Scrum Certified (CSPO) preferred.
  • Experience with Sales Enablement and/or Workflow Management platforms.
  • Knowledge of project/task management systems, JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience working with UX design teams for prototyping and development.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • A customer service mind-set and a strong drive to deliver high quality outcomes.
  • Effective communicator with across executive, marketing and technology constituencies.
