Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboarding and implementing tax technology platforms (including data/document management, workflow, custom apps, dashboards, and portals) to support and automate internal operations of clients and engagement teams.
• Management of investor demographic data and set up of footnotes to generate partner and entity level tax forms.
• Configure, test, and run diagnostics on partner and entity footnotes.
• Understand and evaluate key tax processes, technology, data, analytics, and risks/controls.
• Grow technical skills and business knowledge through training and hands-on experience.
• Identify areas of process improvement centred around the end-user.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• A Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Tax Technology, Management Information Systems or Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 1 years of related work experience
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Basic knowledge in any one of the tax technology solutions (e.g., Go Systems, OneSource, Data Analytics)
• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite tools (e.g., Excel, Power Point, VBA)
• Working knowledge in any one of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View, and Power Map)
