10+ years of relevant experience, with extensive experience in a government affairs function for a multinational corporation, industry association, or government agency that engages regularly with the private sector.
Deep understanding of government affairs in Korea, including government relations, policy advocacy and crisis/issues management.
Experience working with government agencies, National Assembly, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.
Strong ability to distill complex ideas or issues into effective, clear, concise, and actionable campaigns and content.
Ability to build consensus or coalitions of like-minded companies to address key policy/regulatory issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and Korean.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in economics, political science, public policy, law, or international relations.
Candidate must be flexible, resourceful, self-motivated, and be able to consistently exercise sound judgment, have a strong sense of responsibility, and work with minimal direct supervision
Experience in the technology sector will be a plus, or familiarity with policies that may impact the technology sector or Apple.
