Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 12+ plus years of experience in SAP SD / CRM / FICA module of which 4 years of experience on C/4 HANA billing or BRIM
  • At least 3 full life cycle project implementation experience of SAP C/4 HANA billing or BRIM
  • Functional expertise in several BRIM process areas including Subscription Order Management, Convergent Mediation, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA and Customer Financial Management and overall application architecture of BRIM.
  • Experience with S4 HANA Customer Management for management of Master data such as Business Partner / Contract account and CRM / SOM and it’s integration with different modules of ERP.
  • SOM experience to include: Subscription Order Management within BRIM, Business Agreements, Provider Order, Provider Contracts & Order Distribution and Product Setup.
  • Experience with SAP Convergent mediation by Digital route to integrate and data streams flowing to SAP BRIM from external systems.
  • Convergent Charging experience to include: pricing and charging logic related to services and offerings
  • Convergent Invoicing experience to include: Consumption Items, Billable Items, Billable Item Class Configuration, billing item selection, aggregation, collective billing and reversal principles, Invoicing Integration with Tax and posting in Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • FICA experience to include: FI-CA sub-ledger (Open items, transfer postings, security deposits, instalments, interests, payments and write-off) and the aggregated posting towards the standard SAP FI general ledger. Includes the integration with the standard banking interfaces.
  • SAP Customer Financial Management to include: Payments handling with Cash desk, Credits and Collections management. Provide Financial customer care with Dispute Management.
  • Integration experience to include: SOM with CC and CI, CC with CI and FICA, CI with FICA, CI with CFM and FICA with FICO. Exposure to SOAP APIs connecting CC with S4 HANA.
  • Exposure to different component: SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Customer Cloud, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud, and SAP Customer Data Cloud, CRM and ERP.
  • Experience with Cloud Billing with subscription and outcome based billing will be an added advantage.
  • Business knowledge including: Related to industries such as Internet services, Telco, Road Charging and other service-related industries.
  • Should be able to Design, Architect and detail the Processes with key focus on Billing including implementation planning, fit gap analysis, configuration, specifying technical analysis, testing, rollout and post-implementation support.
  • Uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client’s business environment to achieve client expected business results.
  • Customer facing, good communication, presentation and writing skills


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Finance business process integration experience
  • Deliver extended functionalities are per customer requirement using enhancements
  • Good understanding of how Subscription Order Management with Usages, Billing, and Invoicing works
  • Revenue Recognition (RevPro, RevSym or SAP RAR) experience is preferred
  • Exposed to different project implementation methodologies like ASAP, Agile, Solution Manager etc.
  • SAP certification in the SAP BRIM area.
  • Ability to participate in technical discussion with technical team with understanding of technical solution e.g. user exists, function modules, APIs, RFC, ALE, Idoc etc.
  • Ability to understand basis SAP code flow to troubleshoot using simple debugging.
  • Understanding of security roles and authorization to participate in discussions with security team
