What You'll Do

We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to improve Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric with fresh insights. This forward-thinking UX Designer will collaborate with highly skilled UI and back-end engineers. You will be responsible for crafting and building user-facing features and for turning needs and practices into a great front end. Your output is the most visible part of the product!

  • Partner with engineering and product teams to explore possible solutions and carry concepts from creation to execution.
  • Lead end-to-end feature design with an ability to translate abstract ideas into viable product features.
  • Facilitate design discussions with partner teams to capture feedback on opportunities to craft a more elegant design solution.
  • As a storyteller and communicator, use excellent interpersonal skills to help others envision and rally around your designs.
  • Provide ongoing support to engineering teams through the development process to guarantee a high-quality implementation and user experience.
  • Play a hands-on role facilitating workshops, sketching, and prototyping solutions, creating high-fidelity designs.
  • Work in close collaboration with leadership team to improve design processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience designing UX solutions for software products
  • Experience with different techniques and methods of design, such as storyboarding, sketching, system mapping, prototyping, and working with and expanding design systems.
  • Experience using Figma, Adobe, Sketch or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A portfolio demonstrating past design work, deliverables, end-to-end process, and the impact the work had on users and business.
  • Articulate the need for design and design decisions to diverse collaborators and leadership.
