Main tasks of the role

  • Oversee and coordinate project-related procurement and logistics activities for projects in Thailand, ensuring alignment with project timelines, customer requirements, and country-specific regulations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, the ASEAN and global procurement organization, as well as logistics providers. Participate in supplier negotiations, qualify logistics service providers, and manage relationships with both local and overseas suppliers.
  • Implement project procurement plans and local sourcing strategies translating operational project business requirements into technically complete, commercially and legally clear orders as well as tracking order confirmations, coordinating variances with supplier and project.
  • Manage logistics costs, inventory, and shipments (both inbound and outbound), ensuring accurate documentation and smooth coordination with third-party logistics providers.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations, mitigate procurement risks, ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and manage ECC responsibilities.
  • Facilitate communication between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Additional certifications in procurement or logistics are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years in procurement and/or logistics, with at least 2 years in project-driven roles
  • Experience in supplier negotiations, managing local and international suppliers, and implementing procurement strategies
  • Proven ability to manage logistics costs, inventory, and shipments, ensuring smooth coordination with third-party providers.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, shipping laws, customs regulations, and international trade.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and logistics systems (e.g., TMS, WMS).
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., Thai) are an advantage.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure successful project execution.
  • Adaptable to changing requirements and committed to continuous improvement in procurement and logistics.
